Rare tumors: arise from the intralobular duct epithelium particularly the striated
ducts

Histology:

• Well encapsulated tumor
• Bilayers of oncocytes – large cells with granular eosinophilic cytoplasm rich in mitochondria.
• +ve for phosphotungstic acid haematoxylin (PTAH) – specific for mitochondria
